Hello again! Wow I know it has been a long time but we have been busy and just got our internet hooked up yesterday. So I will give you a brief overview of what we have been up to. We left for Europe at the end of May and came back end of June. We stayed at my parent's house for over a week after we got back to Canada. I got to go to Kate's graduation and Braden went to his brother Nathan's graduation. Then we travelled to Fort St John and found out that we are going to have a baby! The due date is February 23rd. We are now settling into our new house. Braden is fixing up the basement into a suite and I am continuing my business classes and working part time. It feels good to get back into a normal routine!

Happy Belated Easter!
Hey Everybody! Well I have decided I am really bad at this blogging thing. I definitely don't post very often but sometimes I don't have that much to write about. Lately all I have been doing is studying, trying to get ready for my finals which start next week. We did have a great weekend though! Braden and I got to go to Frontier for Easter and we also stopped by Swift Current on the way back to Calgary. And we came back loaded with Easter candy! (thanks to mom and dad and grandma and grandpa) Oh and this week I decided to give my dog Honey, a haircut myself instead of taking her to the groomers. Bad idea! She looks like a little kid gave her a haircut. I guess thats why you are supposed to buy a good set of clippers instead of cheap ones from Wal-Mart. They would hardly cut the hair so I had to do most of it with a scissor. I'd post a picture of her but then everyone would make fun of her. Okay maybe its not that bad but I think I am going to take her back to the groomer so she can get a more even haircut. Anyways I hope that everyone had a very Happy Easter!

SOLD!........well maybe
Hey everybody. Well we have conditionally sold our house. The home inspection is today so as long as they do not find anything wrong with the property, then its official. The only dissapointing part is that the possession date is the end of May which means we have to move our Europe trip to either June or July. We are thinking July now (Ben and Johanna I will email you when we know for sure) because we have two graduations and a wedding to go to in June. My little sister and Braden's little brother are graduating on the same weekend! Bad luck hey? So we decided that I will go to Kate's grad and Braden will go to Nathan's. And Braden's cousin Brittany is getting married and we are so excited! It should be a fun wedding!

Frontier, Saskatchewan
I just got back from Frontier and wish I could go back again. It's a completely different lifestyle and there is so much more to do than living in Calgary. I guess I'm not much of a city person. I got to watch my little brother (the one that's about a foot taller than me) play hockey, Kent (my other little brother) and I went curling together, I helped mom with a project that her students were working on in school, and got to see the cutest baby ever! (Tyson). Before I went to Frontier, Morgan and Tyson were in Calgary visiting. So Morgan brought me to Frontier and my Mom and Dad brought me up to Calgary. It was so much fun to see everyone again but the trip, as always, was just too short.

Back To Normal
Well we finally have our house back to normal. No more plastic hanging over the doors, or drywall dust all over the place, or all of our furniture stuffed into the bedrooms. We have really come to appreciate having time to relax in the evenings and living in a clean house once again. Here are some pictures of what our house looked like not so long ago.

Renovations

Happy Valentine's Day
Well I hope that everybody had a good Valentine's Day or Single Person's Appreciation Day! We went to this cute little Italian restaurant but have you ever gone to a nice restaurant only to find out that their portion sizes are tiny? I'm embarassed to say that we went to McDonalds afterwards! And I have never seen McDonalds so dead empty. I guess its not the typical place you go for Valentine's Day! Anyways we also found out that they put the trainees at the counter when it is not busy. The guy that served us was hilarious! First of all he put cream in my coffee cup, spilt it on the dirty counter and then filled up the dirty cup (with no cream left in it) with coffee all the while touching the part of the cup that you drink out of. Then he accidentally made Braden's cheeseburger a plain burger. Then he forgot to put chocolate sauce on one of the sundaes. Finally he filled one of the sundae cups up too full, said "uhoh" but attempted to put a lid on it anyways. By the time we got to our table we couldn't stop laughing! I don't know, maybe you had to be there but it was pretty funny.

I got tagged!
Well I got tagged by Morgan sooooo I have thought of five totally random facts about myself
1) I am NOT a morning person.
2) I LOVE Alphabets cereal.
3) I have the cutest dog ever! (her name is Honey)
4) I use hand lotion like twenty times a day.
5) I hate birds. The older I get the more I do not like them and the more afraid of them I am. Unfortunately Fort St John is infested with giant crows!

The world of blogging
Well Morgan aren't you proud of me? I have a blog now. I'm not really sure what a blog is but I have one. So I guess I should tell my not so many readers what is new with us. Well we have had a great time with Braden's Dad Marty the last two weeks. He has been helping us renovate and is now on his way back to Fort St John. And for those of you who do not know, Braden and I have bought a house in Fort St John and will be moving at the end of March. We are in the process of selling our house in Calgary but before we really settle in to our new house, we are going to Europe! We don't really have a set plan, we are just going to go and have fun! And now we have friends living in Switzerland (Ben and Johanna) to visit as well. Hope to see you guys in May! Well I would like to post some pictures of our new renovations but I admit I don't know how to do that yet so they will be coming soon. L8er!
